MEET YOUR HOSTInternational session hairstylist Anna Cofone began her career over 20 years ago after developing a passion for hair while studying performing arts. Her interest in cult films, music and fashion led her to join leading salon group Haringtons to complete an apprenticeship in hairdressing under the leadership of Eamon Boreham, Daren Baine and Esti Carton.
In 2001 Anna won the L'Oreal Talent Spotting Competition which led her to work alongside the L'Oreal Artistic Portfolio on several international projects for both Kerastase and Redken and collaborate with graduate designers fromCentral St Martins.
After an incredible 8 year partnership, running a busy column and working with the Art Team hosting seminars and educational events across the country, Anna moved to London to pursue a career as a session hairstylist.
She joined industry greats Eugene Souleiman and Sam McKnight backstage at New York, London, Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks. This 4 year training period of assisting, saw Anna help to create looks for some of the industries most renowned fashion houses including Balmain, Stella McCartney, Vivienne Westwood, Yohji Yamamoto, Maison Margiela and designers including the late Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel.
In 2011, Anna was introduced to the award winning musician Lana Del Rey and was responsible for creating her iconic Hollywood glamour looks for hercritically acclaimed album 'Born To Die' and continued to work across allimage platforms including music videos editorial shoots (Vogue, Numero, Interview, Dazed) and advertising campaigns for H&M, Mulberry and Cartier with photographers Steven Klein, Inez & Vinoodh, David LaChapelle and film directors Anthony Mandler and Jake Nava.
In between LA, New York and touring, Anna began keying her own shows at London and Paris Fashion Weeks for designers including Bianca Saunders, Daniel WFletcher and Chet Lo, and began her ongoing collaboration with beauty photographer Felicity Ingram on international campaigns celebrating inclusivity and diversity.
For more than 5 years Anna also worked with Grammy award winning pop sensation Dua Lipa and was responsible for her most dramatic hair changes from 2017 - 2021.
Anna continues to work with Lana Del Rey and models including Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford, Lara Stone and on numerous high fashion publications; Vogue, Dazed, ID as well as with luxury brands including Valentino, Balmain, Preen, Louis Vuitton and Erdem.

Most recently Anna founded Hair & Care, a charity project designed to educate,empower and connect visually impaired people by teaching them practical hairstyling skills and equipping them with tools to harness their identity and individuality.
