Vicki-Anne Hoskin Wins E4’s The Big Blow Out
Last night, Vicki-Anne Hoskin, owner of The Grove Studio in Cornwall was crowned the winner of E4’s The Big Blow Out. Vicki was one of 11 stylists who battled it out over eight weeks to compete in a series of challenging tasks testing their creativity and technical ability before putting their creations in front of judges, renowned session stylists Sam McKnight and Lisa Farrall.

It's been a long journey for Vicki-Anne Hoskin, owner of The Grove Studio in Cornwall. She's gone from small town salon owner to superstar stylist with her incredible hair styling skills.
Vicki-Anne took home the top prize on E4's The Big Blow Out, a reality show where she competed against 10 other stylists in the industry.

We talked to Vicki-Anne about her win and what's next for her!
Vicki shared her delight at winning the inaugural series: “The whole experience has been a rollercoaster, I only found out 3 days before filming started that I would be taking part, so it’s been a whirlwind. It’s been an incredible ride and I’m delighted to have been a part of something which celebrated our industry and the creativity and passion that goes into hairdressing. I’m lucky enough to have met some amazing people and formed lifelong friendships. I’m excited to see what everyone does next.”
Judge Lisa Farrall commented: “It was a tough competition with 11 hugely talented stylists taking part, Vicki’s talent, creativity and passion for her craft really shone through all of her work. Each week she progressed and really pushed herself and her creative boundaries. It was great to be a part of Vicki’s journey and I can’t wait to see what she does next.” @lisafarrall
Vicki-Anne's work on The Big Blowout has been nothing short of amazing. We've watched her grow as a stylist and in confidence throughout every episode and we can't wait to see what comes next for her!
The Big Blowout gives stylists a chance to push themselves outside of their comfort zones and explore new ways to express their creativity. It's also a great opportunity for them to connect with other stylists and make industry connections that will help them grow as professionals.
